Hello and welcome! I’m Andrea Davis, and I have a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Texas at El Paso. Over the last 25 years, I have taught piano lessons to young children, teenagers, and adults of all abilities and skill levels. Through my professional membership in the El Paso Music Teacher's Association, my students have many opportunities to perform and compete at community events. Teaching piano is my passion, and I absolutely love guiding my students as they grow and develop their talents.

Get To Know Me
My piano training began very early at age three. At age 12, I began studying at the University of Utah, and at age 13 began teaching privately. I competed in many local competitions, including the Utah State Fair and the Summer Arts Festival. I was awarded a scholarship at both Snow College and the University of Utah. I have performed with the Salt Lake City Orchestra and toured internationally. Music has always been a part of my life. While in college, I married and started a family. I am currently a military wife and a homeschooling mom of five wonderful children, all of whom either play the piano beautifully, or are learning to!

I focus on skills and technique, but tailor each lesson to students' individual learning styles, needs, and goals. I strive to make lessons challenging, rewarding, and fun. Your initial lesson and interview is free, because finding the right teacher makes all the difference in your success.

I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities. I ensure that every student masters the skills that will support a life-long love of playing music.

As a concert pianist, I understand what it takes to excel. I work with my students to master their technique and expand their repertoire, but I also help them find their artistic voice. Every lesson is designed around your individual goals, whether you're working toward a college audition and scholarship, a future career in music, or competing and performing for pleasure.
GROUP LESSONS
Let's Learn Piano Together
Group lessons are held at various times throughout the year. We play games, learn and review theory, study about composers and listen to their works, and perform for each other. Group lessons are the perfect setting for collaboration and relaxed performance experiences. Although not mandatory, group lessons are highly recommended. Group lessons are included with your tuition.

For Soloists, Ensembles, & Solo Recitals
I have performed in European concert halls and with symphonies, and I understand the nuances of collaborative music. My attention to detail and classical background is the perfect compliment to your performance. You'll be able to perform with confidence; my focus when accompanying is to help you sound your best.
